The young artist who drew the picture is Rajnandini. She joined our Hasra primary school in 2014. Hasra is in a remote rural area 100 km from the nearest city of Varanasi. Rajnandini was promoted to attend our Patehra middle school, (10km away). She studied for five years at Patehra and then passed the exam to join our secondary school at Guria. She now lives in our girls' boarding hostel and is studying biology in class 11.
