New Members Welcome!

There will be reserved table(s) for new members, and those who wish to meet and greet others.

You will be asked to present your Villages ID when entering the venue

Also bring your existing name badges to our events and BYO drinks and snacks

We will be serving a traditional Canadian Christmas Dinner featuring all the fixins.

Cost for the meal will be

$15 per person

(the club subsidizes the caterer costs to keep the member cost down)

Cash is collected at the door, or you can pay in advance by Zelle using:

loooniesandtooniesfinancial@gmail.com

Please confirm your attendance no later than December 1, when we must provide the final number of attendees to the caterer.

Let us know if you, and any guests, will be attending by clicking this link to our email (include your names to be entered into a draw for some Christmas door prizes):

Please advise of any special dietary requirements, or if you will be bringing your own meal, so we can accommodate you.

Thank-you in advance for helping us prepare for the party.

Entertainment by

Leesah Stiles

What do you get when you mix Bernadette Peters and Bette Midler with a dash of Patsy Cline? Leesah Stiles, that's what!

This entertaining, dynamic redhead will knock your socks off with her talent and her funny, interactive, audience pleasing show!

We invite you to bring a New, Unwrapped Toy in support of:

Sozo Kids

We have supported them the last 7 years, and Father David Houck has let us know our "awesome" support has delighted many children who otherwise might not have gotten anything.

We also invite you to remember some of our less fortunate neighbours by bringing a non-perishable / non-expired food item for the

Wildwood Food Bank

If you have not already done so, we ask that you check in at our registration desk and pay your $10 (cash) 2025/2026 seasonal dues, or pay in advance by using Zelle:

loooniesandtooniesfinancial@gmail.com

If you wish to try the club out, or are bringing a guest, the cost is $5 per person for one meeting.

For new members who registered at a previous meeting, your badges will be available for pick up at this meeting.

Please remember to stop by the 50/50 table and get your tickets, this is our primary fundraiser!!!

Golf

Match

-making

Are you interested in finding some fellow Loonies and Toonies to golf with this season?

Some interest has been expressed in:

  • Fun Couples Executive
  • Fun Ladies Championship
  • Fun Ladies Executive
  • Fun Mens Executive

If you are also interested, please let us know and we will try to group together those of similar interests.

Give us a general idea of your skill level, what type of courses you like to play, what time of the year you plan to be in The Villages, and whether you are interested in singles, couples, or mixed groups.

If there is enough interest we will put the individuals with similar interests in contact with each other to sort out the details.

Volunteers

Needed for 2026/2027 Season

After a fun and exciting two years as President, Arthur Tucker will be stepping down at the end of this season.

Our Club is also looking for someone to organize the annual golf tournament next season.

Everything continues to move forward in a positive direction with the club, and it is healthy financially and socially.

This provides opportunities for an individual or group to come forward and get more involved during this season.

Individuals can take on the roles as-is, try out the roles, volunteer for a specific amount of time, or we can examine new ways to break up the work (like having different individuals organize monthly meetings).

Please contact Arthur Tucker at this email address with any questions, suggestions, and feedback.
