Christmas Grants 2018
As, around the globe, we celebrate the birth of our Saviour as a vulnerable child, the Fund is delighted to announce our Christmas grants in aid of disabled and disadvantaged children, the elderly and isolated, those without vital healthcare, the persecuted and the marginalised. Thousands whose plight would otherwise be forgotten.

Thanks to our generous donors, the Fund will support Order projects providing healthcare for mothers and children across Africa and in the United States, dedicated transport for those in need in the Czech Republic and Mauritius, education for those without access to it in Romania, Ukraine, Argentina and Thailand and a brighter Christmas for the lonely in Lebanon, Cuba, Georgia, Albania and Poland.
Some of the projects in this grant cycle include:
Transport for Disabled Children,
Grand Priory of Bohemia

Many disabled children in the Czech Republic are unable to get to school, leaving them socially isolated and without an education.
This grant will provide the Order's transportation project with the running costs for a fourth car to take a further seven children to school each day.
Construction of a School,
Argentinian Association

Barrio Ramon Carillo in Buenos Aires offers no secondary education for poor children, who grow up with a backdrop of poverty, drug abuse and crime.
The Order's secondary school provides the education vital to escaping this poverty. This grant contributes to an expansion of the building, doubling the number of pupils to 450.
Elderly Socio-Medical Centre,
Lebanese Association

The Order’s socio-medical centres in Lebanon help over 1,000 lonely, isolated and financially vulnerable elderly people.
This grant supports the provision of these important meeting spaces for social interaction, activities, and everyday healthcare support.
Give a Christmas Gift to the Forgotten
Bangkok is home to a desperate population of Christian refugees.
Escaping religious persecution in Pakistan and trapped in Thailand, they are unable to work or access any basic services. They are marginalised and truly forgotten.
The Order is working with 180 families in Thailand, providing financial aid, assistance with healthcare, education for 90 school-age children, and asylum applications to secure their futures.
Please consider giving these families that have fled persecution, leaving everything behind, a glimmer of hope this Christmas:
  • Just $25 would provide teaching equipment for one child for a year
  • $100 would provide tuition fees for one child for the school year
  • Just $20 represents a day’s salary for a teacher
We would like to thank you all for your continued generosity and support
for the forgotten.

We wish you a happy and holy Christmas!
