Christmas Holiday Closures

No Residential Trash or Recycling Collection on Monday, Dec. 25

All City of Santa Fe administrative offices and facilities will close at noon on Friday, December 22. All offices and facilities will also be closed on Monday, December 25, for Christmas.

Additional closure information:

Santa Fe Trails and Ride will run on a holiday schedule on Sunday, December 24. There will be no service and Transit Administration offices will be closed on Monday, December 25.

All Santa Fe Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, December 25. Regular hours will be observed on Saturday, December 23.

The Genoveva Chavez Community Center will be closed on Sunday, December 24, and Monday, December 25.

The Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe Golf Course will be closed on Monday, December 25.

The Parking Division will observe Monday, December 25, as a meter holiday. Patrons may park in metered parking spaces at no charge. Surfaces lots and garages are still subject to fees.

Regular hours will resume at all locations on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

Holiday Trash Collection Schedule

There will be no residential trash and recycling collection on Monday, December 25. Collection will occur one day later through the end of the week (see graphic). Place carts curbside no later than 7 a.m. for collection.

Commercial collection will not change.

The next holiday collection schedule change will take place on Monday, January 1, 2024 (New Year’s Day). All residential trash and recycling collection will occur one day later than the regular schedule for the week of January 1, 2024.
