This past December Johnson County Christmas Bureau hosted almost 14,000 residents of Johnson County as they shopped for Coats, Gifts, Clothes, Toys, Personal Care Items, Books and of course Groceries at our JCCB 9 Day Holiday Shop. Our Grocery Department was concerned we did not have enough food to give to our recipients when they arrived for their appointments. Thankfully, we had neighbors helping our JCCB Grocery Team with an emergency food supply and, with a Hy-Vee discount, those dollars stretch even further. This year we are asking for Hy-Vee gift cards, in any denomination, to help our Grocery Team stretch the budget again and provide food for our families and children in need during the 2024 Winter months.

We cordially invite you to join the ACA Cares Interest Group as we celebrate the generosity of business leaders in our community. On Wednesday, July 24th, we will be hosting our Happiest Hour event, which will include food, drinks and lots of Luau fun! We understand that it takes a year-round effort to collect for our neighbors in need, and that's why we work tirelessly from January through December to make sure our 9 Day Holiday Shop is full of hope for the holidays. We believe that giving back to the community is a fundamental responsibility, and we hope that you will join us in making a positive impact while learning more about JCCB.

The Luau starts at 5pm, so wear your favorite Hawaiian or tropical attire and bring a Hy-Vee Gift Card to ensure children and families in our community have hope. (Tropical Attire it's not required, for this family fun event.) We appreciate your giving hearts and any treasures you may bring to help Johnson County Christmas Bureau!
