Come learn a little about heating and air systems and tips to save on energy bills, stay comfortable and keep your family safe. Maybe you'll win a Seasonal Tune-Up!
I hope each of you had time for rest, good food and joy over this last weekend. Despite the extremely difficult circumstances, we have so much to be thankful for. I look forward to our return together this week as club members and friends. We will envelope our affected members in Soropti-love and move forward together one step at a time.
This week brings Christmas in November. If you have items you would like to contribute to the event, contact Kathy Erickson or just arrive early on Wednesday and we will figure it out. Remember that we are looking for services as well, if you have something to offer, let us know. It's a good meeting to bring a guest to, so please feel free to encourage others to join us. Many in our community are seeking a way to help and joining our efforts is a clear path.
I would like to extend an invitation to all of our past and present Camp Fire affected members to attend our Christmas in November and our business meeting in December at no charge. A motion will be coming forward to approve free attendance/lunch for the next three months at a minimum. In the meantime, it's on me!
Finally, today is Giving Tuesday. Paypal is matching donations made today dollar for dollar. Anyone who donates to our Soroptimist Paypal site will have their donation doubled. I encourage you all to promote this as it will only help increase our ability to help financially.
With Gratitude,
Soroptimist International of Chico
