Well 2020 has been quite the year for a lot of us. Covid 19 has hit many of us hard and it's been a very trying year for a lot of families and individuals. From lost jobs to lost loved ones, Covid has affected everyone in many different ways.

We understand the trials and tribulations this has brought many people not just across Canada but across the world and yet you still supported our business. Without you, CWO would cease to exist and it would be a very different life for me. I appreciate each and every order, from $5 to $500, every order and every customer is important to me.

Textreme, the Italian Powerhouse

Textreme has once again brought out a game changer. Introducing, the smallest GSP in the world. Coming in at only 10 Denier, the Textreme Power Thread Extreme is the new must have on every tying bench.

Made with a technical polymer of a very high breaking stain in relation to its diameter, up to ten times higher than a steel of equal diameter, it is suitable for tying flies where it is needed a thread practically invisible but with an excellent breaking strain.

Also new to Canada is Textreme Magic Tinsel. Available in two sizes, 1/16" and 1/32" as well as a variety of colors., Magic Tinsel has the ability to stay either flat or with a simple pull from your fingers, turn into small tubing. It is a special Pearlescent/Ultraviolet film overdyed in beautiful color with changeling effects allowing you infinite patterns. Use it as a base material, overtop thread or biots, pull it to make super small tubing for ribs, the choices are endless.

The newest dubbing that CWO has brought out is the Merino Spey Dubbing. Long, lustrous Merino fibers that are easy to dub and come in a variety of colors, this dubbing is made to please even the most discerning spey tyers.

Genuine Antique French Tinsels

After scouring the internet and much research, CWO has found French Tinsels from the turn of the century. Lovingly stored, they are now out in the light and available for sale. For those who want to use a piece of history on that special fly, the French Tinsels are that magic touch you were looking for. Keep watching the site for more new additions to this line up.

Coming soon for 2021

is Berlin Wool in over 60 colors. This is a two strand wool from an European company that has been in business for well over 150 years and who knows, Kelson and Blacker may even have used it!

I'll also be bringing in more TEXTREME fly tying products and who knows what else. I guess you'll just have to keep watching the site to see!
