We send warm greetings during these 12 Days of Christmas!

This month we celebrated the 90th birthday of Mother Michaela, shown here with the creche she set up for Christmas. 
We hope you are enjoying this Nativity season -- like our goat Eureka, brought into the kitchen by Mother Katherine for a Christmas cookie.

We'd like to share a special project. We need to invest in a generator as back-up power for house and barn, replacing one 25 years old in poor condition. Our heat and water require electricity, so in case of power outage, we would be unable to water the animals, or cool them in summer, which could be life-threatening. Not to mention heating our monastery residence in winter!

A 22kw automatic generator to power house and barn is ~$14,000 for turnkey installation. We would welcome any contributions for this project, which will benefit our nuns, guests, sheep, goats and chickens. Thank you!
