Announcing a change of venue for SPRING FLING 2025!

COLONIAL WILLIANSBURG, VIRGINIA

Mark your calendars for SPRING FLING 2025 on April 28-30!!!

Pat and Sybil Newman are planning a fun-filled three days at the Woodlands Hotel and

Suites as we explore the rich history of Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia!

Williamsburg was the capital of the Virginia Colony from 1699 to 1780 and played a

significant role in the American Revolution. It forms the “Historic Triangle” together with

Jamestown and Yorktown. Its heart is Colonial Williamsburg, a historic district and

living-history museum where actors in period costume depict daily colonial life in the

streets, stores and workshops. Lots to see, learn and enjoy!!!

More details to follow!!!

BLUE RIDGE UPDATE!

The Board and Staff of YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly continue to make progress on restoring the Assembly Campus! To date, over $1.3 million dollars has been donated to the Storm Recovery efforts! Weatherford Chapter Y Alumni members have donated a total of $224,873 from 28 donations!!! In our many conversations with Weatherford Chapter colleagues it is abundantly clear that, as individuals and as a collective group, we have a deep commitment to and appreciation for the impact Blue Ridge has on our lives and the overall health and success of the YMCA Mission, “partnering with young people to create stronger communities and a more equitable society for all of us."

Please consider donating and know that gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated and extremely needed. As they repair buildings and infrastructure Blue Ridge will be closed and not able to host conferences or guests, thus eliminating their stream of revenue. If you have already given and are looking for additional ways to support the recovery effort, consider a monthly gift. Your monthly support would enable them to maintain necessary staff and upkeep of the Campus during the ongoing recovery effort.

You can make donations and pledges via the YMCA Blue Ridge website, blueridgeassembly.org or send a check to YMCA Blue Ridge, 84 Blue Ridge Circle, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
