Christmas break Dec. 19-Jan.2

Schools and district offices will be closed for Christmas break Dec. 19-Jan. 2. Staff will return on Jan. 2 and students will return Jan. 3. Check out the video above for a special holiday message!

Trojan eSports brings home STATE CHAMPIONSHIP trophy!

Carrollton High School was one of the first schools in the state to roll out a Georgia High School Association-sanctioned eSports coed team, and this year, the team brought home a state championship title. 


The Trojan Mario Kart team competed against Discovery High School in the GHSA State Championship Dec. 14 and brought home the winning trophy — the first GHSA state championship ever won for a Mario Kart team. Congratulations, Trojans!

Carrollton STEM students produce graphing tool for visually-impaired student

To teen-agers, three months is a long time, especially to finish a school project they expected to be completed in short order. But that is how long it took for Carrollton High School seniors Lexy Walter and Anna Kate Ware to create a product in their STEM class that not only provided a solution for a visually-impaired fellow student, but also took them out of their comfort zone because of all of its challenges.

CJHS Sisters Club makes donation to Carroll County Child Advocacy Center

The Carrollton Junior High School Sisters Club made a donation to the Carroll County Child Advocacy Center this week. The Sisters have been learning about entrepreneurship by making Trojan spirit jewelry that is sold in the Trojan Nation Store at Carrollton High School, and they are appreciative of all the customers who made this donation possible!

CHS senior named Coca-Cola Scholarship semifinalist

Carrollton High School senior Syndey Cumby has been named a semifinalist for the 2023 class of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program, moving to the next round of the selection process to become a Coca-Cola Scholar. If chosen, Sydney will receive a $20,000 college scholarship.

CCS receives shoe donation from Southwire

This week, Southwire's People and Culture Department donated 25-30 pairs of shoes in various sizes to Carrollton City Schools to assist economically disadvantaged students this holiday season. The goal of this shoe drive was to provide 40 pairs of shoes to families and children in need and engage its workforce in building more sustainable communities.
