Christmas arts and crafts

Enjoy the festive spirit and create meaningful gifts for your loved ones with our programme of arts and crafts events throughout November and December. From our festive garland printing workshop with local artist Lydia Duncan to our crafty origami session, or a macrame wreath-making workshop with Lorna from Green and Maud, these craft sessions are the perfect way to spend a cold winter's evening in Hartland.

We are also excited to continue our monthly life drawing group, both online and in person, where you can indulge in the art of the human form and spend time in the mindful company of like-minded creatives.

Life drawing

Tuesday 10 December • 7—9pm GMT

The Resurgence Centre & online via Zoom

A friendly, mindful, untutored group of artists celebrating the human form. Life drawing is important for artists to hone their skills whether they are beginners or established artists.

The sessions take place online and in a beautiful gallery room at The Resurgence Centre in Hartland, North Devon. Hosted by experienced life model Mark Gough, we start with some quick warm-up poses and then try some longer poses that will give you more time to fine-tune your drawings.

Depending on the length of each pose, you will be encouraged to be either fast and decisive with your mark-making, or more considered and detailed.
