Deal of The Week Byron 2016 Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyards - ONLY 11 BOTTLES AVAILABLE - WHEN IT'S GONE, IT'S GONE 

Made using 45% new oak, the 2016 Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyard has a pale to medium ruby color and opens with oak aromas of chocolate and nutmeg, fleshing out to potpourri, black tea leaves, cocoa, red cherry sparks and black cherries with savory/meaty accents-that oak is present, but there's plenty else here of interest and depth. Medium-bodied, it's lushly fruited in the mouth with tons of spice, very finely grained tannins and wonderful juicy freshness, finishing long and chocolaty. Give this plenty more time in bottle. 350 cases produced__93 pts. Wine Advocate

Sunday - 1 to 7 p.m.
Monday - 11-7 p.m.
Tuesday - 11-6 p.m.
Wednesday through Saturday 11-9 p.m.

To insure the respect of our patrons and our employees, we are re-opening with the following guidelines:

  • MASKS ARE NOW REQUIRED BY EVERYONE.  IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MASK, WE WILL HAVE SOME FOR SALE.
  • No children in the shop under the age of 21.
  • Social Distancing Must Be Observed at all Times (6 ft apart wherever you are in the shop)
  • No indoor seating (Napa will chase you off the leather furniture) the church pew is loaded with orders
  • Outdoor seating will be distanced accordingly.  Please do not move the tables and chairs.  We will sanitize daily.  Don't make us do extra work please. (Bathroom rules to follow)
  • Beer and wine will be served in plastic containers...or you can bring your own.
  • Please dispose of all bottles, cans, glasses in our recycle bin in the courtyard before you leave our beautiful garden
Regarding Wine And Beer Tastings - Wine tastings will resume Friday, June 5th.  However, to manage crowd control, we have elected to limit the wine tastings to anytime between 11-4 both Friday and Saturday.  NO EXCEPTIONS TO HOURS!!!  The reason for this is to maintain social distancing.  We don't want to be the police, so please support us with this change until there is a vaccine!  Tastings will be in small plastic shot glasses.  We're not being miserly, just health conscious. 


At The Grape & Ale we are taking this pandemic seriously and hope you are as well.  The safety and health of our customers and staff is of prime importance.  Here are some of the steps we are taking to insure your safety.

  1. Washing our hands thoroughly after each interaction with a customer.
  2. Sanitizing commonly used spaces with Lysol and/or clorox to include doorknobs, counter tops, and bathroom spaces several times a day.
  3. While hand sanitizer for your use is hard to come by right now, I am preparing to make our own using rubbing alcohol and essential oils.  If you would like to get the recipe, let us know.
  4. All employees are wearing masks.
For social distancing we are offering the following:
  1. Place your orders for wine via the phone.  We can do one of two things:
    1. Take payment over the phone and when we receive a call from the parking lot that you are here, we can take it to your car and put it in the trunk.
    2. Delivery directly to your home
    3. You may also come inside the shop to browse and make your purchases while maintaining social distancing.
  2. Finally, if you are sick, please stay home and take care.

The Grape & Ale has "no corkage" agreements with nine restaurants.  

Simply purchase your wine here at The Grape & Ale, show your receipt and
purchase an entree for everyone in your party, and enjoy no corkage at the following establishments: 
  • Castucci's - Thursday
  • Joseph's Italian Bistro - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
  • KoKo Cabana - All Days
  • Mr. P's Bistro - Monday,  Tuesday, and Wednesday
  • Ports of Call - Wednesday only
  • Shagger Jacks - Wednesday and Sunday 
  • Swains Cut Italian Steakhouse - All Days!
  • Tranquil Harbor - All Days!
  • Turtle Island - All Days!   
*Remember to tip your wait staff as if you had purchased your wine in the restaurant!
