Christmas tree recycling

Drop off your live Christmas tree at any of four Christmas tree recycling drop-off sites in Highlands Ranch. The Metro District's three drop-off sites will be open through Jan. 17.
The trees will be chipped into mulch on-site, and the mulch will be available free to residents on a self-serve basis.

Mansion Dancin' series is back

Put on your dancing shoes and head out to the Highlands Ranch Mansion for any of three Mansion Dancin' events this winter. The first event is Jan. 28 and is a Latin Dance Night. The evening will feature live music, dance instructors and a cash bar. Gourmet snacks will also be available for purchase.

Douglas County Cultural Council seeking Highlands Ranch volunteer

If you have a passion for art, science or history, and a desire to help bring more culture to Douglas County, here is an opportunity for you.The Douglas County Cultural Council has a vacancy for a volunteer from Highlands Ranch to serve a three-year term, ending in January 2019.

Become a docent at the Highlands Ranch Mansion

Ge t involved in your community, learn about local history and meet new people while volunteering as a docent at the Highlands Ranch Mansion.  Docents are the face of the Mansion. They greet guests, provide tours and answer questions about the history of the home.
