A Chromalloy equipment transfer to the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM) will accelerate new research in the area of additive materials. Chromalloy transferred the 10-foot by 10-foot Robotic Cladding System used in laser powder deposition - an applied coating process used in gas turbine engine component repair - to CCAM's new collaborative research facility. Turbine Services appoints Graham Taylor as new GM
Graham Taylor, a long-time Energy industry and manufacturing leader, has been appointed to lead Chromalloy's global Turbine Services business. Taylor will grow the business particularly in Europe and Asia. He joins the company from David Brown Gear System where he was Managing Director, Mining & Cement. Prior to that, he managed the company's Oil & Gas unit.

Nevada appoints Director of Quality
Chromalloy's Nevada operation in Carson City has appointed a new Director of Quality. Prior to the appointment, Joe Timpone held the role of Quality Manager at Nevada. Earlier he worked for several years at the Goodrich Corporation as Quality Manager in the aviation sensor business. Prior to that he was Goodrich Supplier Quality Manager in aircraft landing systems.
