Fulton County Judge has ruled family had to get out of 10-year family apartment home by October 31st. Along with your help, Future Foundation has raised $1,340 thus far for Zuri and her mother. Much more assistance is needed.

Meet Mother & daughter Rahru 45, and Zuri, 19.

They have been evicted from their home of 10 years. They need help. Multi prolonged disabling illnesses has prevented Rahru from earning a living, as business owner this has impacted her, her daughter Zuri and her business. This three-year journey of multiple chronic medical setbacks has put this family in crisis mode.

Being diagnosed with three chronic conditions. Rahru has had to navigate difficult brain surgery, resulting in visual impairment, while also needing continuous oxygen 24 hours daily. Her condition is idiopathic in origin. Meaning the reasons why are unknown. She and Zuri have been severely impacted while battling for her life while trying to maintain care, personal care, and financial obligations.

Again, Rahru & Zuri need your help! They need to find housing before October 31st. Rahru also needs help for medical assistance. Once Zuri turned 19, she no longer qualified for state Medicaid insurance.

To qualify, she would have to be 64 or older or file for social security disability in which she has a 21-month pending status. We are reaching out for resources that may be able to assist.

This three-year medical dilemma has exhausted all Rahru's financial reserves.

To make matters more challenging, as a single woman with a daughter, 19, trying to get through her freshman year in college, there aren't many programs that they qualify for, so they have a need for money and resources to help them get past this devastating experience.

Zuri has been her mom's caretaker since 2021 when she was 16 years old. Future Foundation responded to the call from the American Association of Caregiving Youth to assist Zuri and her mother gather resources to stabilize their life and put the focus on her back mom's health needs and to help Zuri stay on track as a college student where she is enrolled at Georgia Perimeter College.
