but their echoes are truly endless."

Dear One,

The purpose of the TouchStones Newsletter is to announce the special events or transitions that give our lives meaning.

In this way we share with our Unity Community the news; for we can rejoice with each other, support each other in prayer and provide information to those on our Newsletter list.

If you have news you wish to share please email Unity of Prescott,

The Prayer of Faith

God is my help in every need;

God does my every hunger feed;

God walks beside me, guides my way

Through every moment of this day.

I now am wise, I now am true,

Patient and kind, and loving, too;

All things I am, can do, and be,

Through Christ the Truth, that is in me.

God is my health, I can't be sick;

God is my strength, unfailing, quick;

God is my all, I know no fear,

Since God and Love and Truth are here.

Charles A. Dann aka Chuck as we all knew him, passed away in August from complications following surgery for cancer. He was the quiet, gentle man who opened doors for ladies and never bragged about things he did. Yet he served Unity well as treasurer of the Board for eight years. He was one of the electrical wizards helping to develop the sound booth and operate it on Sunday morning. This often involved crawling around in the attic over the sanctuary. Back in the day, he also helped demolish stone planter walls to make way for development of the Welcome Garden; gather rocks for building the waterfall, moving movie screens … He was a supreme handyman and a loving gentleman. We will miss him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 4 at the Highlands Center for Natural History from 2-4 in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unity’s outreach program.
