Church, College and a Carabao

Greetings Ministry Partners,

Brother Jhomar is a student of Agriculture at a College in South Cotabato. Before he attends classes, he goes to the hills to till the ground with the help of his carabao. In this way, he is gaining both knowledge and skills that he can immediately use to help with the practical needs of his family and community. On weekends, he goes to a Bible school to undergo CCI training and also helps the pastor in the ministry at a local church. Again, he’s able to apply what he’s learning in school to the practical needs of the ministry. Jhomar is just one of several tribal students who are being equipped for the ministry in Mindanao.

Prayer Requests & Praises

● The administrator of the Philippine Baptist Theological Institute called to request help to buy books for ten T'boli tribal students who are being trained to minister to their tribe. This includes Brother Jhomar whom I told you about earlier. $100 would be enough to buy the books for one student. Please pray that the Lord will touch the hearts of people to give towards this need. Click HERE to help provide the training books for these pastors. $100 pays for one set of books for one pastor. Thank you in advance for helping meet this need. ● Please pray for our upcoming Global Conference in Chiang Mai, Thailand in November. CCI is taking care of our lodging, food, and local transportation. But we need to provide for our own transportation to Thailand. Please pray for God to provide. If you would like to help, that would be a tremendous blessing for me. Click HERE to help.

● Some of our staff need to get or renew their passports to go to this Global Conference. Please pray that they may be able to secure their travel papers soon.

● I thank God that I was granted a visa for New Zealand. Please pray that I will be given a visa for Australia also. I’m scheduled to go to these two countries with David Nelson, Vijay (CCI India) and Sitha (CCI Cambodia) in April.
