This was only one of the urban garden areas that we tackled during our time with Farm Church. Notice in the top picture you can't even see the
Red Shed to the right! The before picture was taken on Tuesday; the after image on Thursday. Keep an eye on upcoming newsletters to see what grows - thanks to Dave Krakowski for the pictures!

Ken Hall's Weekend Music World

Hi Folks!

There are lots of opportunities to support our family of musicians, live music and even help those in need this summer.

Foodstock is June 24th on the Village Green in Lake Bluff from 4 pm to 7 pm. The Housewreckers and our own Good On Sunday Band will be providing live music in the Gazebo. This is all to support COOL ministries who do great work feeding the hungry and providing transitional housing for those in need. We’ll have burgers by Meatheads and Ice cream by Suzie’s Swirl available. If you choose to donate you’ll be entered to win some great prizes donated by local merchants or you might like to empty your pantry of non-perishable food items and bring them along. The Food Pantry truck will be parked on Scranton and ready to be filled!

Friday : Mr. Hand with our own Daryl Beese on bass & vocals will be at The Humble Pub in Highwood starting at 7 pm.

Sunday : We have two young, up and coming artists joining us for Father’s Day. Hannah Swoyer (accompanied by Elliott) will be at the first service and Austin McGreevy will be featured at the late service.

Thursday June 21st: King Robinson and the Housewreckers featuring Blues Dudes Mike & Rob along with Bruce Williams, Eric VanDuyne, Marty Willis and more will be playing at 210 Restaurant & Live Music Lounge in Highwood. Music starts at 7 pm.

Thursdays: Mandolin/Dancing Bohemian ukulele player Phil Goldman is in charge of scheduling music for the Ravinia Food Truck Thursdays and Music in the Park festival. Check this link on Facebook for more details:

Steve Rashid who hosts the Studio5 Performing Arts Center in Evanston. You can check the schedule here https://www.facebook.com/Studio5PerformingArtsCenter/

August 25th will be the Beef4Hunger benefit block party in downtown Lake Bluff. Music starts around 6:30 pm and goes until 10 pm. Check out this video clip I took last summer:

Friday Farmers Market in Lake Bluff:  Terry Moran and Elliott Delman will be performing music for your pleasure while you shop the Farmers Market on the Village Green. They’ll play better if you stop by and listen and let them know how much you appreciate their music!
