The Women's Small Group meeting Tuesday nights at 6:30 has begun our new study Abide by Jen Wilkin. If you would like to join the study, the book is available on Amazon and through Lifeway. All are welcome! If you have questions, please contact Tracey Singleton (919-880-3167).

All youth and youth parents are invited to gather for dinner and a brainstorming meeting on Sunday, January 22 from 5-7 pm. We will be planning youth activities for the upcoming months and want youth input!

The Missions Team is excited to begin work with Read and Feed February 2nd from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Read and Feed is an after-school literacy program that provides meals, tutoring and books to children from low-income families in Wake County. We have several volunteers in place for this outreach program, but have room for more! If you would like to learn more about this program, please contact Liz Newlin (daisy8091@gmail.com)

Save the Date! The Acts 1:8 Celebration weekend is coming soon! We will have opportunities to support local missions and special projects on Saturday, February 25 as part of our Day of Service. On Sunday, February 26 following a combined worship service with guest speaker, Dr. Peter Morris from Urban Ministries, a delicious lunch will be offered in the Christian Life Center. More details about service opportunities and activities will be shared next week. Garner UMC continues to impact and bless those in need locally and around the world. Thank you!

Cleaning out your closets and realize you have too many t-shirts? During our Day of Service on February 26, the Missions Sewing group will be recycling and transforming gently used t-shirts into cloth bags to be given to HOPE and others. Please drop off t-shirts in the HOPE box by the elevator. Thank you!
