The Missions’ Team will meet again June 4 to continue planning for our annual Back to School Bash. We will meet in room 223, adjacent to Holy Java, following the Traditions Service. Everyone is invited to attend!

Garner UMC will be hosting a monthly social event for adults with special needs beginning in August. This "Coffeehouse" gathering will offer social interaction for people with all abilities in our community. On the 3rd Friday of each month from 7:00pm-8:30pm, the CLC will be transformed into a coffeehouse with music, light refreshments and fellowship in a safe and inclusive environment. Informational meetings will be scheduled soon and we hope everyone will consider supporting and serving with this community outreach. Save the Date! The annual Back to School Bash hosted by GUMC will be held on Saturday, August 12 from 9am-12pm. Last year, more than 600 students received new book bags and school supplies; and, we hope to serve more families this year with your support. In the coming weeks, the Missions team will share how you can be a part of this community outreach.
