Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of James (Jim) Sanders who passed away June 20th. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
Jim and Carole both are faithful members of Garner United Methodist Church. Jim's hobby was art and many of his drawings are displayed in the church. We will always think of Jim when we look at his art.

Vacation Bible School will begin this Sunday, June 26, at 5:30pm and ending at 8:00pm. We will meet each night June 26 thru June 29. Volunteers needed!
There is no such thing as "too many cooks in the kitchen" during Vacation Bible School! We need 4-5 volunteers for 2 nights to help prepare, serve, and clean up after the meal for the children and volunteers. We can plan and buy the food for you if you prefer. Desserts like cookies and brownies (baked or store bought- no nuts!) for 3 nights would also be appreciated. Please contact Shawnna Smith-Parker or Tracey Singleton (919-880-3167) for more details on how you can join in the fun and support this year's VBS!

Preparations are underway for the 10th annual Back to School Bash on August 13th as we work to meet the needs of families here in Garner. How can you help?
