April 2026 Church Newsletter

Those who would like to give a Lily to decorate our Sanctuary in memory of a loved one, or in honor of someone, may do so by offering $10.00. The Altar Guild Team will purchase the lilies to be placed in the Sanctuary for Easter. Offerings should be received by Wednesday, April 1, 2026. You may pick up your lily after Easter Worship on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Order forms are located in the Narthex. Checks should be made payable to "LCOOR."

Please write "Lilies" on the memo line.

Spring is here and it will soon be Easter! It’s hard to believe we are in the final months of the school year. Even though our weather has felt more like summer than spring, the school will still be bursting with Easter bunnies, colorful eggs, baby chicks and of course the very special story of Easter. In our March chapel a story about the very first Easter was shared in a gentle, age appropriate way. The story tells how Jesus showed love and kindness to others, and how Christians believe He came back to life Easter morning. Our hope is for the students to remember the message of joy and celebration that Easter brings.

In the spirit of the Lenten season let us remember the message of hope, joy and new life. Wishing you and your family a peaceful and joyful Easter filled with love and blessings.
