Sunday, October 28, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. RSVP at
. More details below.
Preschool I and II
Preschool students continue to learn about the significance of water in the Bible through various stories over the next few weeks. This Sunday they learn about Moses and create an art project related to the story.
PreKindergarten students learn about the Baby in the Basket. Who is he? Why does his mother hide him? Students create a special snack related to the story.
At Jesus's Last Supper with his disciples he said an important prayer that we say every Sunday during Chapel and in the big church. Kindergarten students continue to learn about the Lord's Prayer. When we say the Lord's Prayer we honor God. What do we ask of Him? (To forgive us, to provide for us, and to guide us.)
First grade students read the Bible story of David and Goliath. Students make a slingshot for their Bible binders and an edible slingshot for snack.
Second grade students continue learning about the Old Testament with the story of Joseph and his Coat of Many Colors. Students make another ornament for their Jesse Tree wreaths. For snack, they decorate gingerbread men with a technicolor dream coat.
Third grade students continue learning about parables. This week they discuss
The Lost Coin and
The Prodigal Son. Students make crafts for their parable folders.
Fourth and Fifth Grades
Fourth and fifth grade students learn about the Exodus and the Ten Commandments. How do rules help us? What happens when we break the rules? Students make a scroll using invisible ink.
