Sunday Sanctuary Service 10AM • Coffee Hour 11AM

Inspired by the many women of today who make a godly difference,
and the women in the Bible whose faith and courage transformed
the world and continue to shape the way we live.

We will spend each Sunday diving deeper into their timeless truths and uplifting message.

Announcements

Rally Day is upon us! We will embrace the return of school, the fall season and all that we celebrate and enjoy at John Wesley!

There will be sign up sheets at the connect desk in the fellowship hall.

Hospitality will be available this Sunday (Sept. 6) if you have any questions.

We will plan on an indoor celebration as we did for celebration Sunday. Setup will be the same and we will ask for help on the grill.

If you have any new ideas, kindly email Maryellen or cell: 908-216-0471.

Christine via email: Christine Quesnel or cell: 413-237-2896.

Looking forward to celebrating, enjoying conversation and fellowship!

Tuesday Morning Book Study Series

The Benefit of Doubt by Craig Groeschel

Join us September 8, 13 & 22 as we'll finish the last 3 chapters in the Fitzgerald Room.

Struggling with Doubt Doesn't Make You a Bad Christian—It Might Be What Saves Your Faith.

If you're secretly wrestling with questions about God, faith, or the Bible, you're not alone—and you're not broken.

In "The Benefit of Doubt", bestselling pastor Craig Groeschel shows how your hardest spiritual questions can actually deepen your faith, not destroy it. Instead of hiding from doubt, Groeschel invites you to bring it into the light—and watch what God can do with it.

September Book Study Series:

(Tuesday AM OR Wednesday PM)

Unafraid by Adam Hamilton

Starting in September – join us for a church book study of Unafraid: Living with Courage and Hope in Uncertain Times. Together, we’ll explore the fears and anxieties that shape our lives and consider how faith can help us live with greater courage, hope, and trust.

Tuesdays at 10:30AM, starting September 29th, in Fitzgerald Room. Wednesdays at 2:30PM, in the Library.

Printing on our new printer

If you use the the new (used) printer, you can connect using either a USB flash drive or a USB wire that plugs directly into your device.

If you choose to use a wire, follow the prompts on your device to connect.

Adapters: Being older, our printer has a large USBa port on the right side to connect to for printing.

Adapters for both flash drives are on the black wire file holder on the wall of the copy room. They have one end that's USBc (small) and one end that's USBa (large).

Please return adapters to the wire shelf after use.

If you have a rare situation with a device that you think has neither type of USB port, please send a screenshot of your device details (under about my device) and a screenshot of all of it's ports to office@johnwesleyumc.org and allow response time during business hours.

Please be aware that HDMI is for A/V, not printing. Look for a small port, like you'd plug a cell phone in to.

GET YOUR JWUMC SHIRTS!
