,
We recognize that Covid cases are rising, especially around this holiday season. By this time, we all know someone who has or has had it. As a result, this week Governor Ivey extended the current "Safer at Home" order until January 22.
From the beginning, we as a church have simultaneously taken this virus seriously and our privilege to gather safely as the church seriously. We will continue to stay the course. Let me remind you of our guidance during this season...
- We continue to clean the church, including high-touch surfaces and chairs between each gathering.
- Maintain a social-distance of at least 6 feet between you and others who are not in your household.
- We strongly encourage you to wear masks, especially when you can't maintain a 6-foot distance from others who are not in your household.
- Don't shake hands with or hug each other.
- Please stay home if you are experiencing Covid symptoms or if you or someone in your household is waiting on results from a test to come back.
We recognize that each person is responsible for doing what they believe is best for themselves and their family. We support the decisions that you choose to make. If you choose not to gather for worship, join us online Sundays at 10 for our worship live-cast. We are grateful for technology that allows us to gather virtually and stay connected. You can also continue to give online here.
Partnering with you,
Michael
