Even though St John will remain in Phase One of our reopening plan for now, we would like to invite anyone who would feel comfortable with a special outdoor service in the church parking lot to come on August 16th at 10:30 a.m. We will be using specific parking spots to maintain spacing. Masks will be a requirement and we will encourage everyone to still maintain appropriate social distancing for this event. This event is still in the planning stage so further details will be announced soon!
The August & September “Christ in Our Home” devotionals will be in the outdoor mailbox in the afternoons!
Though the St. John building is closed to the public, you can call the office with any questions or concerns. When staff is there your call will be answered, otherwise leave a voicemail for Kathy. You can also reach her by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
or you can go to the church and pick up a physical copy in the church mailbox in the afternoon or go to the church website and access it online.
The Church Council will hold its monthly, online meeting Tuesday, August 11 at 6 PM. The agenda will include a re-assessment of our current Re-Opening Plan. Council Meetings are open to anyone in the congregation. If you would like to join the Church Council Meeting this week, please contact the Church Office and we will email you the link to the meeting. The Church Council welcomes any and all feedback.
If you have a favorite hymn or song (including Praise songs from the radio) let Melanie know and she will include the song in summer worship services!
