A Note from Jim
The Rev. James H. Littrell
"St. Martin’s, I can assure you, is alive and well, mending and growing, and every week extends its hands of love to new and returning members alike. I am a little tired right now, but underneath that is the joy and hope that fills me, and, I hope, you too. We are truly one in God’s Holy Spirit."
Rector's Warden Report
Barbara Thomson
"It was so wonderful for all of us to be together in the Parish Hall last Sunday. I'm grateful to all of you who participated - and 'upped your pledged.' ...Since COVID arrived, we've been out of the habit congregating as a family...so please wear your name tag."
Music Notes
Tyrone Whiting Director of Music & Arts
"This week in music at St. Martin’s we recognize African American abolitionist and clergyman Absalom Jones, a Saint in the Episcopal Church, whose work became prominent right here in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We recognize him both in the propers of our liturgy and in our hymns and music."
Celebrate Baptism
at St. Martin’s!
There will be no LIFT service on Sunday February 19th.
All members of the St. Martin's community, including all families with children, are encouraged to attend the 10:30 service to witness the baptism and to join in supporting the newly baptized. For more information about baptism at St. Martin's, please contact the Rev. Jim Littrell, Interim Rector, or Anne Alexis Harra, Minister for Children, Youth & Families. jlittrell@stmartinec.org; aharra@stmartinec.org

Transition Prayer

Direct us, O Lord, in all our doings with your most gracious favor, and further us with your continual help; that in all our works begun, continued, and ended in you, we may glorify your holy Name, and finally, by your mercy, obtain everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

On behalf of your infectious diseases advisory committee, we are pleased to provide you with our consensus update on masking policy at St. Martin’s. We are officially recommending that the current policy requiring masks for all those ages 2 and older be retained until the end of February, at which time the committee will re-evaluate based on the current situation in Philadelphia.
