Adult Study Group has begun a study on the book Waking Up White by Debby Irving. Along with viewing the three-part documentary “RACE-The Power of An Illusion.”  You will need to purchase the book on your own. (Amazon has it in new paperback, used paperback, Kindle, and Audible.)

This study is an invitation for all of us to learn more about our own experience of race, along with the stories of people of color in American history and our world today. I do hope you will join us. EVERYONE is invited to join the study—just let me know you are interested, and the Zoom info will be sent directly to you.

August 9, Pat G will lead us in discussion about Session Three - What is racism? Read sections “Leaving My Comfort Zone” and “Inner Work” pgs 157-215.

Our Community Garden is growing in abundance!
First of all, thank you to all who have helped in anyway to make our garden a success this year. This is an endeavor that definitely requires everyone who is able to participate in any way that they can. That being said, the time for HARVEST is here! Just remember that HARVEST is not a one-time event....it means this is another activity that needs to take place on a regular basis to make sure the blessings of our bounty provided by our Lord do not go to waste.

The garden will need to be weeded, watered and harvested on a regular basis. Please click HERE for the schedule to sign up. Contact Judy T if you have any questions.
Connecting in this time of physical distancing is vital to our remaining connected in life giving ways. Zoom Gatherings can be accessed with a computer, a tablet, a smart phone, or by calling in on your regular phone. We gather every week on Tuesdays at 11 am; and Thursdays at 9 am. Contact Pastor Julie for Zoom sign-in information.
Join us via Zoom every Wednesday at 12 noon for bible study as we discuss scripture passages for our upcoming worship service. Contact Pastor Julie for the Zoom access information to join the Zoom session.
