CiTY Spring 2021 has sprung! Travel teams kicked off their season with league play and tournament successes (see below), CiTY REC hosted a free clinic and welcomed lots of new families to the club, and CiTY raffle ticket sales are booming! April continues to be busy for CiTY, with league games for all of our travel teams, the CCL adidas Festival in Richmond, State Cup play, CiTY Spring 2021 REC (guaranteed registration closes tomorrow), and the CiTY raffle drawing of the winner of $10,000 cash. Tryouts follow quickly after in May (registration is open), so make sure you register below to get updates for your age group.

REGISTRATION CLOSES TOMORROW!
The CiTY REC Soccer Program provides a fun, positive, and creative learning environment for youth soccer players of all skill levels that focuses on the values of teamwork, humility, respect, and sportsmanship. Our program creates an exciting and fun experience where players can learn the game and develop a passion for soccer for many years to come. Registration fee includes uniform.
Practices - April 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18
Games - April 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22
TOTS (pre-K, kindergarten) - $189
REC League (1st-6th grades) - $229

CiTY REC Referral Program
When a new CiTY family registers for REC and puts your name in the referral box, we put a credit in your CiTY account. CiTY credits can be used towards any future CiTY program (including travel fees and future REC registrations) and never expire. The CiTY family will continue to grow with your help!

You could win $10,000!
CiTY's 2021 Raffle drawing for $10,000 CASH is Monday, April 19, 2021. As CiTY's biggest fundraiser of the year, proceeds from the raffle benefit the CiTY Scholarship Fund and Special Needs Program. Raffle tickets are $25 each.
Share this link with family, friends, neighbors, and anyone else who wants to support a good cause while getting a chance to win $10,000. Most CiTY Travel players are already entered into the raffle with four tickets, but increase your chances of winning by buying more!
Raffle tickets will be sold until 10:00 am on April 19, 2021. Like last year, the ticket sales and drawing will be handled in a safe, socially-distanced way, with CiTY staff writing names onto each ticket sold (including pre-paid travel player tickets) and a Facebook Live or Zoom drawing on April 19.

CiTY travel team tryouts will be held this May 2021 for the 2021-22 season. Register for tryouts now to be sure you receive information and details of dates, times and locations for your age group. CiTY holds open tryouts and all current/returning players as well as new players must attend tryouts to be considered for placement on a CiTY travel team.

The Ellicott City Soccer Club offers a FREE program for children with physical, intellectual and emotional disabilities to learn soccer skills in a safe and supportive environment. Our goal is to enable young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the Ellicott City Soccer family. If you are a family with a child with special needs and are interested in receiving updates about the CiTY Special Needs program, please click below to register. We are working on ideas for a virtual event this spring, and continue to plan for when we can get back on the field in person. We will communicate updates directly to players who register for the program.

CiTY General Manager, Rob Ryerson, is excited to direct the Ellicott City SC Soccer Camp Series through Howard County Recreation and Parks with professional soccer coaches to teach the fundamentals of the game through special skill instruction and scrimmages. Each camper will receive a FREE soccer ball, camp T-shirt and a ticket to a 2021 DC United soccer game.
