As the holiday season approaches again, we reflect on all we were able to accomplish at CiTY in 2023. It was great seeing all the team photos throughout the fall travel season, with teams finding success and building good sportsmanship and team spirit on and off the field. CiTY REC continues to grow as there were over 300 players in our Fall 2024 program, with double that expected this spring (register below!). One of our cornerstone programs, the CiTY Special Needs clinic, continues to change lives of players and volunteers and we are grateful to make this special opportunity possible for over 70 players this past fall and more than double that number in volunteers.
During this season of giving, here are a couple of tax-deductible donation opportunities to consider:

Get On the Bus Howard County
Get On the Bus (GOTB) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 that started right here in Howard County in 2018. GOTB has since funded over 2000 kids across the country to participate in an after-school program that emphasizes a healthy lifestyle and the importance of education, as well as play in a rec soccer league in their community.
Here in Howard County, GOTB players play in CiTY's Spring REC program, and we look forward to welcoming over 300 players from eight schools in Spring 2024. GOTB relies on grants and donations from the community to bring the program to these students in Title 1 schools, so when considering your giving for 2023, please remember GOTB! Donations can be made at www.gotbsoccer.org or through Paypal.
