Hello, CiTY Families!
We hope everyone has had or is ready for a great return to school and the start of the seasonal soccer year. As we wrap up a busy CiTY summer full of soccer, international travel, camp, and fun, we are reminded of our three core philosophies:
|
WE ARE SOCCER PEOPLE SERVING SOCCER FAMILIES
After a record number of tryout participants this past spring we added a number of new teams to our travel program. With that, comes new coaches and managers, with whom we have been working all summer to train and get our teams on the field and ready to play. We are excited to welcome these additions to our club as a shining example of this core philosophy.
|
WE SERVE ALL LEVELS, INCLUDING SPECIAL NEEDS
CiTY Special Needs clinic begins on Sept. 15! Volunteer opportunities are available for the whole family, and it's also a great way for our high school aged players to stay connected with the club in the fall while they sit out this travel season to play for their school teams.
| |
WE DEVELOP PLAYERS ON AND OFF THE FIELD
In addition to the soccer piece, all CiTY programs aim to maintain good physical, social, emotional, and mental health. Our partnership with Rehab2Perform supports us in this mission and they will be offering a free injury consult night for CiTY players at any level on Sept. 26 (see below).
|
We look forward to seeing all of your faces back at the fields, and as always, the CiTY Leadership team is available and welcomes questions, comments, and feedback.
Go CiTY!

Congratulations,
Coach KristaLee!
Congratulations to CiTY’s 2014 Girls Head Coach, KristaLee Mellott, for her upcoming induction into the Bucknell Athletics Hall of Fame.
Coach KristaLee, a graduate of the ’08 Class at Bucknell University, is one of only two four-time All-Patriot League honorees in Bucknell women’s soccer history. She is ranked third all-time in team history in goals (34) and points (83) at the time of her graduation. She also had 14 game winning goals during her illustrious career at the school. Bucknell captured league titles in both her junior and senior years. She has served on coaching staffs at Elmira College, Gettysburg College and Mt. St. Mary's University, as well as having served as head coach at Hood College.
We are proud to have KristaLee in our CiTY family!
