Brothers' Field Pizza Fest Brings Pizza Paradise to the Northwest Suburbs

On Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Brothers' Field will host an epic Pizza Fest, celebrating Chicago’s renowned pizza culture. This free, family-friendly event features a variety of pizza options from Tievoli Pizza Truck, Billy Brick's Pizza Truck, and Joanie's Pizzeria of Long Grove, among others. Ruth's Chris Steak House Third Thursday Cigar Dinner

Chicagoland’s Largest Polo Event Returns: The LeCompte/Kalaway Cup

The Annual LeCompte/Kalaway Cup, Chicagoland’s biggest polo event, will take place on Saturday, September 7, at the Barrington Hills Polo Club, located at 250 Deepwood Rd. in Barrington Hills. General admission tickets are $25 at the gate, while tailgates, which include admission for six and one vehicle, are available for $300—though limited spaces remain. D220 Upcoming Referendum Community Information Meetings

More than 2,500 community members collaborated throughout 2024 on a plan to address facility needs at Barrington 220 Schools. The final $64M community-driven plan will go to voters for approval as a referendum question on this November election ballot. South Barrington Seeks Community Input on Conservancy Master Plan

The Village of South Barrington is continuing to develop a Conservancy Master Plan, inviting residents to contribute their ideas on enhancing the local nature preserve. At a recent public meeting, idea boards were unveiled, showcasing potential uses for the Conservancy, including an outdoor amphitheater and a migratory bird watching sanctuary. Residents who missed the meeting can attend the next one on September 25th at 7 p.m. or submit their thoughts via email, as the Village aims to create a space that the entire community can enjoy.

Parker Players Theater Company Continues "Stage the Build" Campaign to Construct Community Theater in Barrington

Parker Players Theater Company is continuing its "Stage the Build" campaign, aiming to construct a state-of-the-art theater in Barrington. To date, $550,000 has been raised toward a $1 million matching challenge offered by Todd and Libby Rieke and Kim Duchossois. The campaign seeks an additional $450,000 to begin transforming the current venue into a fully functioning black box theater, which will serve as a creative hub for the Barrington area community.

Route 14 Underpass Project Website Launched, Updates and Renderings Now Available

The Village of Barrington has launched a dedicated website, for the U.S. Route 14 Grade Separation project, providing the latest updates and project renderings. As tree removals pave the way for upcoming utility relocations by ComEd, Nicor, and Verizon, construction is set to begin later this year. Fully funded and supported by multiple agencies, this initiative promises transformative changes to the Route 14 area.

Raue Center's Mission Imagination Program Returns for New Season, Inspires Young Audiences

Raue Center For The Arts in Crystal Lake has announced the return of its acclaimed arts education program, Mission Imagination, for the new season, offering fresh shows for students of all ages.
