Median Price Per Square Foot Was Up At Least +11.6% in August 2020 Compared to 2019
Last week, I presented some basic stats regarding the closed sales in August 2020. This time, I'd like to dive a little deeper into the numbers from last month.
Three bedroom and 5+ bedroom homes saw significant increases in the number of sales.
Median sales price per square foot ($/SF) was up at least +11.6% compared to the same month in 2020.
Three bedroom homes saw an increase of +21.5% in $/SF and five+ bedroom homes saw an increase of 14.5%.
Median days on market were 3 days or less for 2, 3, and 4 bedroom homes for the first month in at least 10 years.
New pending sales dipped slightly, but this is probably due to Labor Day. Sales activity will likely remain strong for the next two months.
