"My hands don't work so she is literally my helping hand."
Ron and Jaylah, partnered in 2020
Ron began his journey with Circle Tail in 2009 when he was partnered with service dog Zeph. Zeph provided many years of support before he passed over the rainbow bridge. Ron was then partnered with Jaylah in 2020. Ron says, "Jaylah is right next to me everywhere I go to help me. My hands don't work so she is literally my helping hand." When the pandemic hit, Ron and Jaylah were confined to home, and they developed a very strong bond. So strong in fact that Jaylah was the ring bearer at Ron's wedding. Jaylah continues to be Ron's helping hands and was by his side when Ron recently competed in the 2023 Buckeye Wheelchair Games for disabled veterans. Ron won three gold medals.

We look forward to continuing our journey with Ron and Jaylah.
