Sweet Celebration Success!
FOSL hosted a wonderful ice cream social August 19 to celebrate the one year anniversary of the library, and to say congratulations to Hali and Lee Ann on their retirement. Thanks to FOSL for organizing our storywalk, book hunt, live music, and of course ice cream and cake. Ice cream was donated from Amy's & Alex's Ice Cream & Coffee shop, and Rock Hill Creamery. The beautiful cake was donated and made by Shepherdstown Sweet Shop. Musicians that performed included The Chunky Lops, Deborah Rochefort on recorder, Sam Janotta and Timothy. The love for the library continues to grow and we are so grateful.

The Children's department hosted Monarch week in August. We held storytimes, author visits, crafts and our own in-house Monarch caterpillars hatched and were released.
