New in Our Children's Department!

With very generous grant funding from the Kiwanis Club of Shepherdstown, our Children's Department was able to purchase a new Brio train set (in memory of "Doc" Thatcher) and wooden doll house for our activities area - thank you!

Remember the Bourbon Raffle?

We did have a winner! Mr. Todd Hall of Hagerstown, MD. Said Hall, "This is pretty awesome. I'm happy!" Mr. Hall purchased four tickets, two of which he kept - one was the lucky winning ticket drawn by Mayor Jim Auxer, with happy oversight by Mohsen Sadeghzadeh, owner of Shepherdstown Liquors and sponsor of this fantastic event. The Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Raffle raised over $4,000 for the new library project - thank you!

The next Giving Circle informational cocktail party will be held

on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the home of Rebecca and

Steve Ayraud, 105 West New Street in Shepherdstown starting

at 7:00 pm. Current and prospective members welcome.
