Ray-Pec Parent Community,
I want to publicly thank members of a citizens committee that has formed to provide more information about Proposition S, a $72 million no-tax-rate-increase bond issue on the ballot for April 6, 2021. This committee has been instrumental in informing the Ray-Pec community about Proposition S.
Current leadership members of the Citizens4RP Committee are:
Eric Collins, Raymore attorney, and parent of both a current Ray-Pec student and a Panther graduate
Matt Davidson, Raymore insurance agent, and parent of current Ray-Pec students
Larry Dobson, Peculiar resident, a longtime educator and community supporter, Ray-Pec graduate, former Ray-Pec school board member, and parent of Panther graduates
Brent Ewert, Raymore financial advisor, former Ray-Pec school board member, and parent of Panther graduates
Phil Parke, Raymore financial advisor, president of Ray-Pec Public School Foundation, and parent of Panther graduates
Cathy Wansing, Peculiar business owner, PTA executive council president, and parent of both a current Ray-Pec student and Panther graduates
As we approach the April 6 Proposition S bond election, we have a couple of resources I want to remind you of.
The first resource is an informational video that explains the “why” about the need for a bond election. Please take a moment to view the bond video.
The second resource is a page on the district’s website dedicated to information about this bond election. Included on this page are a set of frequently asked questions about this election.
Proposition S is an important election slated for April 6. I urge you to exercise your right to vote in this election.
This is an exciting time to be in Panther Country!
Thank you for entrusting your children to the Ray-Pec School District.
I am passionately driven by the belief that Everyone Is Created To Flourish
