Good Evening,
Be sure to attend this year's Walk to Los Angeles event on August 26. This nine-mile walk from the San Gabriel Mission to El Pueblo de Los Angeles at Olvera Street will allow participants to follow the route first established by Los Pobladores in 1781 that lead to the founding of Los Angeles. Given the day's heat, there will be water stops and rest stops along the route. We hope to see you there!

In addition, the city will also be hosting a bulky item and electronic waste drop-off event on August 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Public Works yard. More information about this event is located below.

Also, please be sure to share this issue with your friends and family, and follow the city's social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, WeChat and Weibo to keep up-to-date on community news and events!
