On Monday, June 5, Denver City Council will consider zoning code changes that will make it easier to build accessory dwelling units that fit in with a variety of Denver neighborhoods. Thank you to those who have provided feedback over the past year to help the city identify the issues, analyze different solutions, and ultimately put forth a recommended strategy to achieve project goals. A special thank you to all the members of the community Advisory Committee who delivered key insights and brought important perspectives to the conversation.
At the hearing, Council will review the zoning code updates proposed for the Denver Zoning Code, as well as a bridge amendment that would apply key updates to Denver properties governed by Former Chapter 59 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code that already allow ADUs.
