City staff will present information about the Lear community meeting to the Reno City Council on April 8th.
A community meeting was held on January 10th to present information on the Lear’s current condition and potential future uses based on a Historic Structure Report presented to the City Council in December 2024. Community input was also gathered through an online survey that was open through the end of January 2026. The City of Reno Historical Resources Commission met on January 15, 2026, and created recommendations for City Council to consider regarding the Lear based on the input from the community meeting.
City Council will hear a presentation regarding the community meeting, the survey results, and the recommendations of the Historical Resources Commission at the April 8th meeting.
