Now, here is what's making news for September 4, 2019:
City Council reviews draft zone text amendment, continuing discussion to 9/17 meeting
Last night, the City Council discussed and provided modifications to the zone text amendment staff report and directed City staff to bring back the item to the September 17 City Council meeting for consideration.

Between 2016 and 2017, several bills were signed by former Governor Brown that introduced new regulations for the development of accessory dwelling units. Remembering September 11
Please join the San Gabriel Fire Department and the San Gabriel Police Department on Wednesday, September 11 for a moment of silence and a time of reflection to honor of the victims of the September 11 attacks.

The event will take place at 1303 South Del Mar Avenue beginning at 6:45 a.m.
Celebrate Mexican Independence Day at the Playhouse
Celebrate Mexican Independence Day at the Mission Playhouse with a free outdoor concert on Friday, September 13. This year's celebration features Mariachi Cantares de Mexico! The talented dancers of Esperanza Flores Ballet Folklorico will open our celebration at 6:00 p.m.

Chanos' will also be present serving delicious Mexican food alongside Nomad Ice Pops.
