City Dock will start to look a little different this week, with the big blue holding tanks on Upper Dock Street being emptied and relocated. In addition, parts of the construction fence will be shifted to create entrances for the show. Before the hand-off, the City's construction vendor (Whiting Turner) will tidy up the site so that the Boat Shows can bring their infrastructure (including miles of temporary docks attached to existing docks and slips) to the site.

Middle to End of September (now): Whiting Turner reworks construction footprint in partnership with Annapolis Boat Shows

Early October: Boat Show takes over the site and begins construction on platforms, docks, and show tents

End of October: Annapolis Boat Shows return the site to Whiting Turner to resume construction
The schedule, as announced last week, is not affected by the handover of the site to Annapolis Boat Shows. This has been factored into the planning. City Dock Park, the Maritime Welcome Center and the Burtis House remain on track to open in the summer of 2027.
The Annapolis Boat Shows will look a little different this year, with the main entrance and ticket booth being situated between 110 Compromise (Boat Show offices) and the Fleet Reserve Club.
Boat Show Parking: Attendees can park at any garage along the West Street and downtown corridor (including Park Place, Knighton, Gotts, and Mills Hillman garages) and take the free Magenta Shuttle (TRACK the shuttle live). The Boat Show is also offering parking at Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($23 pre-paid and $30 day of) with a free shuttle running throughout the show. Traffic Pattern Changes: During the shows, please pay attention to detour signage and Annapolis Police direction in the area around Memorial Circle. Key changes:

Randall Street (coming from Prince George St.): Right turn on Main Street ONLY
- Detour: Randall St. >> Main St. >> Conduit St. >> Duke of Gloucester

Compromise Street (from Eastport): No turns onto Randall St. toward the Naval Academy. All traffic will be routed up Main Street
