Help Shape the Future of Housing in Signal Hill: 2021-2029
We invite you to help shape the future of our City's housing. Every eight years, cities must update their Housing Element plan to address housing needs for everyone in the community for the next eight years. The decisions that we make in the coming months will shape Signal Hill's future. Let's work together to make sure Signal Hill's housing plan is the best one for our city. Please take our short survey: visit https://sprw.io/stt-8d7db1 to participate!

COVID-19 Vaccine Information and Updates
The City is happy to provide information regarding COVID-19 vaccines. Please note that the City does not administer vaccines or make appointments, as it is under the jurisdiction of the L.A. County Department of Public Health. Please see below and visit our website for the latest local information on COVID-19 vaccine distribution.

All L.A. County residents and workers 16 years old and up are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. In most cases, you must have an appointment to be vaccinated. Health officials are working with multiple providers to offer opportunities for vaccination. Demand for vaccines is high and supply is limited, which means an appointment will not be available for everyone who wants one right away. New appointments continue to be added as more vaccine doses become available. Please check multiple outlets often to secure an appointment.

Learn more about the vaccines from the CDC here. Please note that those aged 16 and 17 should only sign up for an appointment to receive a Pfizer vaccine - they are not cleared to receive any other brand. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at their appointment.

  • Find an appointment at MyTurn.CA.gov. You can search under both "Long Beach" and "L.A. County".
  • Find an appointment at L.A. County-run clinics at VaccinateLACounty.com.
  • Check with local pharmacies and your health care provider. Many are able to offer the vaccine.
  • Residents with disabilities or limited internet access can call the LACDPH Vaccine Call Center at (833) 540-0473, 8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Check VaccineFinder for information on clinics, pharmacies and other locations that offer COVID-19 vaccines
  • Follow @LAPublicHealth and @LBHealthDept on Facebook and/or Twitter for real-time updates on vaccination clinics, availability, no-appointment opportunities, and more.

At your appointment, you will need a photo ID that proves you are an L.A. County resident. It does not have to be a government-issued ID. See acceptable documentation here. COVID-19 vaccines are free regardless of insurance or immigration status.
