City Hall reopens to Public
Williston Herald - After an extensive remodel, Williston's City Hall is reopened and ready for the public. The first floor of the building has been completely re-done, opening up the reception area and creating a more inviting atmosphere by removing the walls and creating a sitting area, complete with a fireplace and a television, which will be installed later. Bank of North Dakota boosts Coronavirus Business Aid
Bismarck Trib une - S teve and Sandy Jacobson's bakery wasn't even a year old when the coronavirus pandemic struck North Dakota. "We were pretty nervous about it because we're just starting," Sandy Jacobson said. The couple's bank helped steer them toward assistance options, including a new Bank of North Dakota loan program. The nation's only state-owned owned bank has approved loans for hundreds of North Dakota businesses under two new programs authorized in April by the state's Industrial Commission. Some officials believe the bank has given North Dakota a leg up in responding to the crisis. Read More
June Enplanements make Slow Recovery
News Release - Airline passenger levels in North Dakota and throughout the rest of the country continue their slow recovery from the historically low passenger numbers that were seen in the previous two months. Road Construction begins on 18th Street and University Avenue
News Rele ase - On Tuesday, July 21, construction work will begin at the intersection of 18 th Street and University Avenue. Wagner Construction will continue replacing the 18 th Street water main going east, through the intersection of University Avenue and just west of 6 th Avenue East. Work began on the 18 th Street water main in May 2020. Read More
Hamm to Keynote NDPC Executive Speaker Series July 28
News Release - The North Dakota Petroleum Council presents their Executive Speaker Series via video-conference. On July 28th the keynote speaker will be Harold Hamm. Hamm and Continental Resources pioneered the development of the Bakken Oil Field with the use of horizontal drilled wells and Hydraulic fracturing. Return to the West via Zoom July 28
News Release - The Grand Forks Chamber of Commerce presents their Return to the West series. Build and strengthen relationships with our business partners in the West.
