City Launches New Workforce Resource Page

One of the most common challenges businesses face in today's competitive workforce is the ability to attract and retain talent.

Last month, during the 2018 State of the City Address, Mayor Kneeland unveiled a new workforce resource page on the City's website.

The new resource page features jobs available with the City of Gahanna and jobs with Gahanna businesses and in the Columbus Region.

Mayor Kneeland's workforce development initiative is part of a joint partnership between the City, Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools, Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce and Eastland-Fairfield Career Center to address workforce development and recruitment initiatives. In undertaking this effort, the City is helping Gahanna residents find great jobs and support local area businesses seeking to attract top talent.

Celebrate Earth Day with Parks & Rec

Get outside and celebrate Earth Day this April with Gahanna Parks & Recreation!

Beginning Wednesday, April 18 - Wednesday, April 25, join in on a scavenger hunt powered by Amaze Escape Games to explore 138 acres of woodlands, trails and creek way between Woodside Green and Academy Parks. Find clues and earn points to prevail as the Earth Day Hunt Champions.

Then, join the department on Sunday, April 22 at 1 p.m. at Woodside Green Park, 340 Camrose Ct., to assist in building a new natural play area for the community to enjoy. Both events are supported by the Gahanna Parks & Recreation Foundation.
