Waco Fire Station Sneak Peak
Did you know that the new Waco Fire Station #6 stands on the site of the former 25th Street Theatre? In addition to the design, the station features a community room the public can use including a wall showcasing a little theatre history. So many Wacoans enjoyed the theatre as children, we wanted to honor the history with a display. This new station at, 1006 N. 25th Street, will serve the Sanger Heights neighborhood and surrounding area. It will also house the Fire Administration staff and be an exciting addition to the neighborhood! Are you making plans to join us at the grand opening?

Bag Your Trash
Heads up, Waco! Friendly reminder that all trash in your carts at the curb needs to be bagged for the automated trucks to pick up neatly. Please remember to tie those bags too. Our crews appreciate you! Help us keep our neighborhoods clean and green!

TIPS:
  • Bag and tie all trash bags when you put them in your carts.
  • Bagged trash keeps those carts cleaner and keeps bugs to a minimum as well.
  • Most importantly, bagged trash keeps trash from blowing away when it's transferred to the truck.
