Los Altos Receives $125K Grant to Pilot Cool Pavement Program

Through Silicon Valley Clean Energy Community Grants, the City will be implementing the "Cool Pavement" coating pilot program on the 100 block of State Street, between 3rd and 4th Streets. Work is scheduled to occur intermittently between Monday, August 14, and Tuesday, August 22.

Prepare for Fire Season with Local Experts

The Santa Clara County FireSafe Council is holding a community meeting on Wednesday, August 30, from 6-7:30 PM at the Los Gatos Lodge to present the updated Community Wildfire Protection Plan. During the meeting, local experts and fire preparedness resources will be available.

Fall Class & Camp Registration Opening Soon

Los Altos resident courtesy registration for fall classes and camps starts Tuesday, August 15. Parks & Recreation offers a variety of activities for all ages. Registration opens to all on Tuesday, August 22. Classes begin the week of September 11.

Connect with Council: Councilmember Fligor's Office Hours Happening Next Week

Los Altos Councilmember Neysa Fligor invites community members to her office hours on Friday, August 18, at the Los Altos Community Center from 9:30-11 AM. She is hosting office hours every third Friday of the month, alternating between the community centers at Grant Park and the Civic Center.
