Community Center Demolition
With the groundbreaking over, Gonsalves and Stronk have started overseeing the demolition phase of the Community Center project. Residents can expect more noise as crews will be coming in and out of the site, along with buildings being taken down. There is no a specific beginning date, but activity will be increasing over the next couple days. Construction crews are currently working on trees that have been marked for removal before they begin demolishing the buildings.
We will be doing everything we can to minimize the dust and the noise.
We have water on hand for the dust and we will have no noise after-hours.

We want to encourage everyone to take part in California Flood Preparedness Week on October 19th - 26th. Four creeks run through Los Altos: Adobe, Hale, Permanente and Stevens. With the rainy season approaching, every Los Altos resident can help to prevent localized flooding, and should be flood ready—especially if you live near one of these creeks. Visit
