June 1, 2018

Today marks day one of the American Canyon Community-Wide Yard Sale, a tradition the city has participated in for years. There are 130 yard sales to visit, a shoppers dream! The weekend will draw folks from nearby communities as well as bring those in the neighborhoods within our community even closer.

Many sales are even held as fundraisers to help support wonderful programs in our community - in true American Canyon spirit. I hope you get and enjoy the weekend.

Next Tuesday night, the Council will review the City’s Proposed Fiscal Year 2018/19 Budget. This important document outlines the City’s planned expenses over the next 12 months and identifies the funding sources that will be used to pay for them. Even if you can’t make it to the meeting, I encourage everyone to take a look at it (Business Item D.1 on the Agenda) – we’ve added new features and tried to make easy for non-finance people to understand.
Jason B. Holley, City Manager
