August 2022
Greetings in August,

Join us at the City of San Leandro's 150 Minutes of Music and Light Show on Thursday, August 11, 2022, for a concert, food trucks, and a light show finale at the San Leandro Marina.  The City was incorporated in 1872, and the City is helping the community celebrate its birthday for an entire year.

The August 11th event will include food trucks from Food Truck Mafia; trucks will be on-site and selling food starting at 5:30 p.m. The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. starring Hella Fitzgerald - a fun band that will get the crowd up and dancing in no time! To complete the evening, Pinnacle is sponsoring a "Happy Birthday San Leandro" light show as the finale. The official 150th Birthday Booth will be on-site along with San Leandro Education Foundation.

Bring your lawn chairs, picnic food, or buy food from Food Truck Mafia, and don't forget to bring your family and friends.

Come out to enjoy a wonderful evening with music, food, and fun!  Happy Birthday, San Leandro!
Sincerely,
OFFICE OF SUSTAINABILITY
EBCE Commercial Renewable 100 Campaign Info Session
EBCE has been the default supplier of electric generation service for accounts in the cities of Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, and San Leandro since 2018. The cities of Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, and San Leandro's city council recently committed to transition to renewable energy for their electricity supply!

In October 2022, all commercial accounts will transition from their current plan with East Bay Community Energy to our Renewable 100 plan! This plan is made up of 100% Californian wind and solar energy at a price of less than 1 cent per KWh above PG&E’s default rate.

Join us on August 23rd from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at to learn about this transition and ask any questions for live responses from EBCE.
